Public Housing Waiting List Notice

Public Housing (PIH) Applications:

FOR PUBLIC NOTICE:

The Cleveland Housing Authority (CHA) announces that beginning Wednesday, November 10, 2021 the Public Housing Waiting List has been closed until further notice.  The current waiting list has exceeded an estimated two (2) year waiting period and as per CHA Policy:

"CHA will close the waiting list when the estimated waiting period for housing applicants on the list reaches 24 months for the most current applications."  CHA ACOP p.4-9.

CHA will announce the reopening of the waiting list at least ten (10) business days prior to the date applications will be first accepted.  The notice will specify where, when, and how applications are to be received.  CHA will give public notice by publishing the relevant information in suitable media outlets including, but not limited to:
