SUBJECT: CHA 2022 Agency Plan Update & RAD Conversion Update

This memo is to provide you with advance notice that we will attempt to schedule and hold Resident meetings to review and discuss the Cleveland Housing Authority's pending RAD conversion from the Public Housing Program to Project Based Rental Assistance.  CHA recently submitted its application to the state finance agency, Tennessee Housing and Development Agency (THDA).  Next step is to submit our financing plan to HUD for review and approval.

We plan to hold two (2) resident meetings on Thursday, March 31, 2022 in the Community Room of the CHA Main Office at 450 Walker Street NE, Cleveland, Tennessee.  The first meeting will begin at 10:00am.  The second meeting will begin at 4:00pm.  This meeting will provide a brief status update on our next steps.

There will be limited space for these meetings so as to accommodate for proper social distancing for those in attendance.  All attendees will be required to wear a mask and cooperate and observe the seating arrangement which promotes social distancing.  The meetings will last approximately 30 minutes including a time for question and answer.
