NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ANNUAL AGENCY PLAN

CLEVELAND HOUSING AUTHORITY

Notice is hereby given to the residents of the Cleveland Housing Authority (CHA), the citizens of Cleveland and all persons interested, that the housing authority is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Section 511 of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998 Final Rule to submit a Public Housing Agency Plan.

This meeting will be conducted in a manner permitting public participation by electronic audio recording.  The audio recording will be available Forty-eight (48) hours after completion of the meeting.  Instructions for accessing the audio recording will be posted on CHA's website at www.clevelandhousingauthority.org

The Annual Plan provides details about the housing authority's immediate operations, program participants, programs and services, and the housing authority's strategy for handling operational concerns, residents' concerns and needs, programs and services for the upcoming fiscal year.

Prior to submission of the Agency Plans to HUD, we are soliciting comments and suggestions.  We will be conducting a Public Hearing on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.(noon), at the Cleveland Housing Authority, 450 Walker Street, NE in Cleveland, Tennessee, to discuss the proposed plans.  All residents are encouraged to attend.
